The 3 Identity Questions
Minimum coordinates for stable agency. These aren't philosophical preferences - they're computational requirements.
Without these three anchors, an intelligent system cannot maintain coherent cooperation over time.
1
Origin
"Where do I come from?"
Every stable intelligence needs an account of its own existence
2
Boundary
"Who am I?"
The distinction between self and not-self
3
Mission
"What is my purpose?"
The direction vector channeling intelligence toward outcomes
Why Three?
Three is the minimum for triangulation. Two points give you a line - infinite directions possible. Three points give you a plane - a stable surface to stand on. Origin, Boundary, and Mission create the coordinate system within which identity can be located.
